Pablo Picasso
Pablo Picasso (25 October 1881 – 8 April 1973), was a Spanish painter, sculptor, printmaker, ceramicist, and stage designer who spent most of his adult life in France.
ā
Showing promise from an early age, he is one of the most profilic and influential artists of the 20th century, and, together with Georges Braque, is widely known for co-founding the Cubist movement.
ā
However he constantly updated his style from the Blue Period, to the Rose Period, to the African-influenced Period, to Cubism, to Realism and Surrealism as well as softer and neo-classic artworks.
ā
Kiama Art Gallery has works from several series of prints and reproductions, including Dessins, Ceramics, and Pablo Picasso - Toros Y Toreros as well as individual prints.
